Depending on where you’re located, summer in the USA can mean blistering heat and long days of the purest sunshine. Whilst many enjoy this more than grey, wet or cold weather, it’s still hard to stay chilled out and comfortable sometimes. Schlitterbahn Water Park, Texas. If it’s hot and you’ve got kids, then chances are they won’t be satisfied hanging around drinking pina coladas all day, or maybe they will. What is more likely however is that they want to get into their swimming costumes and go shooting down water slides and divining into wave machines. This water park hosts an impressive 65-acres worth of water fun and constantly updates its attractions, which explains why it wins numerous awards each year.
