Most people like a bit of sun or somewhere they can let their hair down, or even somewhere where they can learn a new language. However, before people consider all of these things they tent to ask one questions, is it relaxing.

It’s hard to find anyone that does not have a somewhat chaotic lifestyle currently. Trying to juggle home and family with work and money, not to mention finding time to socialise and keep up with the admin that continues to pile up. Stress is one of the biggest health risks in the country at the moment and is closely linked to serious conditions such as heart disease, high blood pressure, depression and even cancer. The sad thing is that most people don't do enough to treat their stress and if they only knew more about spa holidays they could save themselves a lot of anxiety.

These holidays are all about giving you total peace and luxury, simular to 5 star cruises, you don’t have to worry about a thing and can instead just chill out and let your worries float away in the light refreshing breeze. On top of this there are therapists at these spa resorts that can give you the kind of pampering that most people can only dream of. You can have your muscles massaged, your body wrapped, and like on Cunard Cruises, you’ll find skin experts who can tailor treatments and prescriptions to suit your individual complexion. Ask anybody and they will say they find people commenting on how they look when they come back from holiday very flattering. With spa holidays this is almost a certainly. In fact, when you’ve experienced spa resort holidays, you’ll say goodbye to those lovely Sliversea cruises that you used to love and go for a spa resort every time

There are a lot of local restaurants that provide the typical La Manga delicacies. Have a word with other vacation makers when you arrive and see which restaurants they have enjoyed visiting the most. There are restaurants located in the harbour, so that you may well watch the activities there, whilst enjoying your meal.

The La Manga restaurants don't plainly cater for those desiring to sample local flavours. If you are missing the tastes of home whilst in your La Manga holiday aparmtent, then there are the great old fashioned fish and chips on hand in particular bars. For those wanting to sample the exotic taste of abroad, but wanting an alternative to Spanish cuisine, there are other dishes also available. You should like to go Italian with pizza and pasta, or go Oriental with Japanese and Vietnamese dishes. German food is also on hand and there is even an Argentinean restaurant for those desiring to try something different. Although potentially we will miss those two during the next World Cup!

If you have enjoyed the flavours that you have been trying but want to save a bit of cash, then there are masses of local supermarket and markets selling all of the ingredients that you should need to put yourself together an authentic Spanish meal. Or you might plainly want to travel up to nearby Cartagena to sample the slightly different cookery on offer there. And wherever you decide to eat, you ought to not forget to try out the local wine! What meal should be complete without a dash of the local wine to accompany it?

One of the best ways to make the most out of a particular region or country is to hire a car and explore it in your own time, especially if you don't want to make a fixed plan until you see the place. There are countless advantages to be gained, but above all it gives you the independence to roam freely, and the benefits of having a car suddenly start to reveal themselves as you'd never imagined before.

Norwegian Jewel Cruise Ship History

I recently spent time on the Norwegian Jewel. I remember how much time I spent ravaging through 20 Google pages worth of reviews, just to find something worth reading. So I’d like to start my Norwegian Jewel Review by stating that it is usually the people that make the cruise, not they attractions onboard. Now to contradict myself, even if you have the best group of people, if there is not a nice set of attractions you are going to be bored. Considering this is my 5th cruise I feel like a cruise veteran. The last little side note I want to get out of the way is that depending on age your cruise experience will be strongly affected.
Variety of different passengers
At first the Norwegian Jewel seemed like a relatively good prices, good sized ship. Due to the varying costs of rooms expect a varying income bracket for the passengers. Of course I did not have any problems with this. The majority of the people I was with had an inside room. The inside room was good for 2 people at most. Once family I knew stuffed three into the room and the only reason that it was able to be done was because they were always outside of the room partying.
Getting Used to the Ship
For the first 2 to 3 days people were more or less creating small groups with other singles or couples around the ship. Meeting 5-6 people should be enough to have a really great cruise experience. I met the majority of fellow passengers during relaxation time on the outer decks, or dinners. Sitting down and starting a conversation with guests ended up being really beneficial. The first couple days seem to be the days that passengers have their sea legs and want to go exploring. Explore the ship the first day so that you know where are the important parts of the ship are.
Attractions
The ship is based on the concept of Freestyle Cruising. This method of cruising is expected to be more open and help to keep your time devoted to whatever you want. Unfortunately this isn’t exactly how the ship seemed to work. Every morning the Norwegian Daily was placed in the front of the door. This schedule shows all the activities available for the day. You are going to need to look this over a couple times and decide which activities seem like fun. If you plan on setting up reservations for specialty restaurants then you will have to work around the dinner reservation. I would advise going to the theater every night because the shows are usually pretty entertaining.
If the schedule stays the same from my recent cruise then the first and last days of the cruise have the best shows. If you enjoy comedy shows try to get to the late night ones and well as the theater ones and don’t worry about going to the theater with kids. The comedian, as well as the rest of the shows are PG. Karaoke is a must do if you want something for laughs. The activities were limited and were not as diverse as I would have hoped they would be. Luckily the ones that I went to were all really enjoyable. Circus De Soleil was the last night and a huge hit.
Food
All the meals I ate on the Norwegian Jewel were scrumptous. From the first day, where i sat down at the buffet before the ship had even left, to the last day where at 1 A.M, I sat down at the blue lagoon to get a snack before I went to sleep everything was great. The buffet named a Garden Cafe has a variety of things to eat. What I really enjoyed was the fact that a lot of the foods they had available were cooked in front of you. Lunch was always delicious at the buffet.
The variety of dinner restaurant aboard the ship really impressed me. The Norwegian Jewel has very diverse restaurants. I was able to try the italian restaurant, the French, Japanese, steak and both of the main dining rooms. The Freestyle dining concept on the Norwegian Jewel allowed me to eat whenever I wanted. That really gave me leverage to eat where I wanted. Reservations for these specialty restaurant had to be made a day in advance. The best was the French restaurant. It had a great admosphere and the food was delightfully different. To sum it all up, you need to try at least one specialty restaurant onboard the ship.

An Orlando vacation is one of the most popular amongst tourists, but it is much more than just a city tailored for theme park devotees. Orlando also has the famous International Drive which houses a huge number of attractions, shopping areas and water parks; all within a reasonable walking distance if you want a rest from driving. While many people that visit are first timers, more are returning for their second, third or more time as there is always something new to see.

As one of the most tourist centered cities in the world, Orlando has a great deal to offer including large shopping malls, restaurants of every type, night clubs, bars and many specialist shops. Of course this article can only brush the surface of what you can see and do on an Orlando vacation but there is so much more than just theme parks that it would be a shame not to mention them.

The Central Florida Zoo for instance only opened back in 1975 and was owned by the Sanford Fire Department prior to that but is now the home to over four hundred animals. It is actually a privately owned charitable group dedicated to the protection of exotic animals plus species that are native to Florida but also offers informative and child-friendly classes and events.

It is also possible to see a large collection of the works of Louis Tiffany at the Museum of American Art over in Winter Park. The famous chapel interior commissioned for the World's Columbian Exhibition back in 1893 is also here along with many items of Tiffany jewelry, leaded glass, ornaments and clayware.

While Orlando may appear on the surface to be a town designed for the entertainment of children that could not be farther from the truth with adults equally well looked after. There is also plenty to do in the evening when you take an Orlando vacation with family shows like the Pirates adventure or for adults, Disney's Pleasure Island and Universals city walk.

Another popular attraction is the Orlando Science Center and is in fact one of the largest buildings of its type allowing the visitor access to ten huge exhibition halls. The International Trolley and Train Museum has fourteen trains running simultaneously in mountains, wilderness and urban areas; including three waterfalls that use 12,000 gallons of water per hour.

On International Drive there is the Mercado Center which is the home to the wonderfully moving, sad and at times eerie Titanic exhibition which actually displays a number of original items from the great ship. Away from all the hustle is the wonderful Lake Eola Park in the heart of downtown; it has beautiful sidewalks in over forty acres where it is possible to spend a few peaceful hours.

No trip to Orlando would be complete without a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort which comprises of four main theme parks plus water parks; or Universal Studios resort complex which is equally as popular. You could even stay at one of the Disney Resort hotels. To find a good offer perform an online search for cheap Disney vacation packages. There is also a number of affordable Orlando hotels near Disney World if you prefer staying outside of the resort. To make the most of your Orlando vacation try to visit outside of traditional holiday periods if you want to avoid the crowds.
